Recipe for pastry:

400 gm plain flour
1/3 cup oil
2 tbsp butter/marjerin
1/2 cup cold water
1/2 tsp salt

Method for the dough:
1. Add in salt into cold water.
2. Mix plain flour and butter until resembles coarse meal with pea size pieces of butter.
3. Heat oil in a pan and pour into the flour mixture.
4. Add cold water a bit at a time and knead dough well till smooth.
5. Wrap dough in a plastic wrap and keep in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours until use.


Filling:
4 medium size sweet potatoes ( cubed )
1/2 cup chicken meat ( cubed )
2 tbsp curry powder
1 tbsp chopped onion
1 tbsp blended chilli
salt to taste




Filling Method:
1. Heat oil in pan and stir in blended chilli, chopped onion and curry powder paste ( mix with a bit of water ) till  fragrance.
2. Add in chicken and potatoes and cook until thick. Can add a little bit of water if it's too dry.
3. Finally add in salt.
